The training on first aid

III module of professional medical training “Giving first aid in life-threatening situation in tactical conditions, also cooperation with air ambulance service”, cofinanced from Norway Grants under the Project “Safety in Schengen area-strangthening capacity of polish customs officers from Mazovia and West Pomerania regions in fighting against cross-border and organized crime” started on September 28 th.

The program of III module of medical training on first aid includes the following areas:

  • giving first aid in life-threatening situation,
  • dressing gunshot wound,
  • Tactical Combat Casualty Care procedures,
  • transport and evacuation methods with cooperation with air ambulance service.

244 customs officers from Szczecin and Warsaw participate in the training. Participants take part in theoretical lectures and practical classes (indoor and outdoor). One of the group will participate in the training with air ambulance.
