Delegation visit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia
On 23 – 27 June 2014, in the framework of the expert exchange programme run by the European Academy of CEPOL, the Office of International Cooperation of the Polish Headquarters hosted a delegation from the Ministry of the Interior of Georgia.
The aim of the visit was to present our Georgian partners with Poland’s experience and solutions for the acquisition and management of aid from external sources.
Therefore, in accordance with the schedule of the visit, on 24 June, a meeting with Ms Teona Kacharava – expert from the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of the Interior of Georgia and Ms Natia Shekiladze – expert from the Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of Georgia, was held in the Department of International Cooperation and European Funds of the Polish Ministry of the Interior.
During the meeting, experts from the Department of International Cooperation and European Funds shared their experiences and solutions pertaining to the acquisition and management of aid measures.
The national system of management and control of EU financial instruments in the area of internal security, including the role of the Department of International Cooperation and European Funds as the Responsible Authority and the participation of other institutions of public administration in the management of funds were also presented to representatives of the Georgian Ministry of the Interior.
